Statement of Purpose:
Through humanitarian projects, in coordination with other ministries, we are to help build orphanages and churches. As the Holy Spirit leads us in these endeavors we will cross denominational barriers and bring the truth and healing of Jesus Christ to those who are hurting and destitute. We believe what God has asked us to do through this ministry is to come alongside other ministries, in the U.S. and abroad, to help gird them up and accomplish the tasks set before them. We believe God is going to open doors and give us wisdom and insight on how to raise funds, coordinate project completion, and organize labor to assist these ministries so that the tasks He puts before them can be completed. We believe one of the ways this will happen is by having opportunity to go and minister the word of the Lord and share the vision for this ministry as He gives opportunity.
The Vision:
We have always known the call of God was on our lives and the vision for this ministry was conceived more than 15 years ago. As God continues to mold us, through life's experiences, He shows us how to walk by faith and rely on Him. We now realize that the gifts He put within us will be used for the Kingdom and thereby bring Him glory. The past 8 years have been a time of trials, of many kinds (James 1:2-4), and as God has been faithful to bring us through them, He has given clarification for the focus of the ministry. When God took us to India in 1996 for a month, we were able to minister at the Children's Home at Grace Center, outside of Gurgaon, Haryana, SW of Delhi. It was here that God showed us the main focus of our calling was to help bring hope and healing to the fatherless. We also believe that through doing this, God will allow our family to minister to the needs of many, wherever He may take us.
In the past, God has given us opportunities to minister to the needs of many, as lay people. We have had the honor of serving others by working with youth, children, young adults, leading worship, teaching small groups, men's ministry, and missions coordination. As we look back on these times of service, we realize now that God was preparing us for such a time as this!!
